A common snitchbug, fixated on thievery.Bell-head: an insect with a bell on his head, so you have to his underside to damage him.Lace, a rival character who has a humanoid shape and utilizes a fencing technique with her needle.Moss Mother, a bee-like creature who functions as the first boss.Once you beat the game, you can test your skills in a new (presumably harder) mode, though details are scarce at the moment.Christopher Larkin, composer for the first game's score, will be returning for Silksong.It seems you may be able to get an extra shield on top of your core health masks.You can upgrade you health and silk, similar to the first game.You can get a string to prevent loss of Rosary Beads.If you die, you lose your Rosary Beads, but you will retain your Shell Shards.There are new types of currencies in the form of Rosary Beads and Shell Shards.There appears to be a job board with at least three types of quests:.Deep Docks (an early level with an industrial theme).Moss Grotto (the starting level and bottom-most area of Pharloom).There will be a variety of new regions to explore, including:.Some sort of aerial bug drones that you can deploy.A saw blade that travels along the floor, damaging every enemy it hits.Some sort of straight-line projectile similar to a throwing knife/shuriken.Pimpillo: a bomb that explodes on impact and can damage both enemies and allies. ![]() Instead of charms, there will be tools, traps, and gadgets the player can craft and use, including:.You can heal without needing to charge (unlike the first game).Hornet's silk is the equivalent of soul from the first game, and can be replenished through combat.Hornet's play-style is much more nimble and acrobatic than the protagonist's move set from the first game.Hornet has a voice, unlike the Knight from the first game.There will be multiple towns to visit (unknown how many).The game will feature over 150 new enemies.Enemies are afflicted by some sort of curse, which will be part of the story's central mystery (it is a different curse from the one present in the first game).Captured and brought to an unfamiliar land called Pharloom, Hornet must battle foes and solve mysteries as she ascends on a deadly pilgrimage to the kingdom’s peak.You control Hornet, the Princess of Hallownest, who was a boss and eventual ally from the first game.There is no release date at the moment, and the team says it will be released whenever it is ready.The game will come first to PC & Switch. ![]()
